I Made It.

Well, I'm in Wisconsin now, it doesn't look much different then Illinois though. I have a nice big back yard to run around in. The two other dogs that live her came to greet me. I wasn't so sure about that. I was still a little stressed from leaving my family. When I lived with my other family I had two other Pointers to play with.

I'm still figuring everything out here. This is what my foster dad had to say about me so far:

She's a wonderful, beautiful, affectionate girl and is very adoptable.

Rumor has it it is also movie night! I heard about this ritual of getting to lick ice cream out of a bowl. I'm not sure what that is all about, but I can't wait to find out.

Time to go explore my new yard a little more.

On the Move...

My name is Phoenix. I was adopted from IBR when I was a puppy. Wasn't I cute??!!

I am a very spoiled girl. Sadly my family has had to make the tearful and heartbreaking decision; they are returning me to IBR. But at this time they have decided this is what is best for me.
I'm not very sure about children under the age of 8 yrs old. But that doesn't mean I have to go to a house without children. Just older kids.

I am going into foster care. I heard that I will have other dogs to play with. That sounds fun! Being a Pointer means high energy, but also we can be the biggest couch potatos you have ever seen!

Check back for updates soon. I'm very nervous about moving, but I'm crossing my paws that the perfect family will come along and adopt me.

OK, time for me to start packing for my move. I wonder what Wisconsin is like? Hmmmm...Check back soon and I will tell you all about it.

Nervous, but excited,

Phoenix
